Alistair Nolan has worked with the OECD since July 1997. He currently works in the Directorate for Science, Technology and Innovation, where he analyses public policies towards science and innovation. He is currently managing a major activity across the OECD entitled Enabling the Next Production Revolution. This work examines the impacts on production, and implications for policy, of recent advances in digital technologies (including AI), biotechnology, nanotechnology, new materials and 3D printing. Interim findings from this work are currently being used in G20 discussions on future production.
