I am an entrepreneur. I am a strong advocate of innovation and digital transformation of health. I believe in the power of human minds and complementary teams that work effectively and transform ideas into great achievements. I am a biologist (B.Sc. in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) with a D.Phil (PH.D.) from Oxford University. Six years in academic research in the UK before I returned to Greece to pursue a business rather than academic career in the pharmaceuticals industry in a multinational environment, seeking continuous education, opportunity for growth and international exposure.
My continuous endeavor for innovation changed focus; from research to marketing where you never do the same thing twice. After fourteen years in marketing and sales in the pharmaceutical industry, two years in health services industry – communication, marketing, & sales – I made a shift to the services and ICT technologies industry. My positions were mainly focused on restructuring and building sales organizations and explored the potential for new services. My pursuit for new things led me to other services: scientific publications, events and conferences.
In 2008 I started, MINDWORK, a service providing consultancy firm in the health sector and related services including managerial effectiveness, management of change and communication strategy, continuous education, events organization and publishing. In 2013 I started MINDVIEW, a market research company, established with the goal to serve the pharmaceutical & healthcare sector. The two companies are now merged in one, MINDVIEW Strategy & Research.
Strategic communication, health litteracy, public health, health economics and evidence based policy making in health are amongst the areas of my focus.
Technology and innovation changes our lives. It transforms the way we do things. Stemming on this the eHealth FORUM emmerged; a network to exchange information & promote innovation in eHealth. eHealth is an enabler of reform and growth and eHealth Forum will nurture innovative ideas and turn them into benefits for the economy and society. eHealth enables equal access to health for all and a sustainable future.
