We're about to bring you more community-focused events, more channels to connect with us and our biggest conference ever. We're also doubling down our commitment to promote ethics and diversity in the data space- speaking of which...

Big Data Berlin Returns on January 24th- Will We See You There?

We’ll be announcing our 2019 events programme with an extra-special edition of our Big Data Berlin meetup on Thursday, 24th January- and trust us, we’ve got some big surprises in store. As well as announcing our plans for world domination in 2019, we’ll also be joined by some incredible speakers:

  • Nadini Jammi is a messaging strategist, copywriter, and one of the Founders of Sleeping Giants: a social media campaign which encouraged companies to blacklist their programmatic advertising on bigoted sites like Breitbart. She'll be sharing her insights from the world of programmatic adveristing- in her words, "The grift is real".
  • DN18 alum Leithe Matz is the COO at Zuper, the first mobile financial coach in Germany & Austria. She's also the co-founder of Mind the Gap, a non-profit focused on closing the gender pay disparity gap for good. She'll be discussing data ethics vs. data research- are these fields as opposed as it might seem, and how can we pioneer groundbreaking research while upholding data privacy & ethics?

Big Data Berlin v. 16 is already our biggest edition yet, with hundreds of you having already signed up for a night of exhilarating talks, networking and pizza- so if you want to join us, grab your free ticket while stocks last!

Our Video Interviews from DN18 Are Now Online

You may remember we shared the videos of our talks and the slides from DN18 back in December- but now, we’re digging deeper. We’re happy to present exclusive interviews with some of the key thought leaders from Data Natives, including Bart de Witte of the futur/io Institut, Eduardo Peire from Ai Scope, and Uwe Deigel from Healthbank. Keep your eyes posted on our YouTube channel, because we'll be adding new interviews throughout the week.

If you haven’t had a chance to check out the videos of the talks, make sure you get on it, and discover the DN18 content that our viewers are describing as “inspiring”, and “hilarious”, and full on data insights they “couldn’t agree more” with.

TO THE VIDEOS!
See you soon,
