Big Data Demystified
The Financial Times Press has just published Big Data Demystified, a book written for business executives.  In this book, Dr. David Stephenson, who has led several international analytics programs (including for both eBay and Axel Springer), starts by describing the fundamentals of big data and then dedicates the remainder of the book to describing how to practically use big data within an organisation, including how to set an analytics strategy, choose technologies, and recruit appropriate roles.  The book is now available in both print and electronic format and was selected as March business book of the month by WHSmith Travel.

This is the book we’ve been missing: big data explained without the complexity.”
Marc Salomon, Professor in Decision Sciences and Dean at University of Amsterdam Business School

"I have never come across a book that is so full of practical advice, actionable examples and helpful explanations."
Tobias Wann CEO of @Leisure Group, an Axel Springer subsidiary
