This edition of Data Natives will gather over 110 speakers from all over the world. Today, we are thrilled to unveil the first round.
We've had the honor to work with some these inspiring individuals through our local events and our previous conferences: digital health pioneer Bart De Witte, research scientist Alan Akbik, prolific AI researcher Trent McConaghy, leading product manager Lars Trieloff, and machine learning enthusiast Sarah Mestiri.

Bart de Witte is Director of Digital Health DACH at IBM Germany. He leads the Digital Health Unit, focusing on digital Health transformation. He has 17+ years of experience in the digital health sector, and has been involved in leading edge technologies and new IT businesses, mentoring over a dozen startups within the healthcare sector.

Alan Akbik is a research scientist at Zalando Research, researching advanced text analytics capabilities over large-scale multilingual text data. Before this, he was a postdoctoral researcher at IBM Research Almaden in San Jose, California, and before that a research associate at the TU Berlin. His research combines NLP and IE, focusing on multilingual data and crosslingual semantics.

Trent McConaghy, is an AI researcher and blockchain engineer. He is the founder & CTO of BigchainDB. He started doing AI research for national defense as an undergrad, going on to obtain a PhD from KU Leuven. He has done Machine Learning research for the Canadian Department of National Defense, and has written two books and 35 papers, and holds 20 patents on Machine Learning, circuits and creativity.

Lars Trieloff is a leading product manager in Germany. He is Director of Marketing at Adobe, previously directing Product Management at Blue Yonder. Lars has been a Apache Cocoon Committer and has worked as a developer at various organizations like SAP. Lars holds a MSc of Software Systems Engineering from Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam.

Sarah Mestiri is a software engineer and machine learning enthusiast from Tunisia, who builds applications and uses her programming skills to make a positive impact in people's lives. She's particularly interested in smart technologies and artificial intelligence (A.I) achievements like Eye Tracking or Recognition.
