The Unconference

Break the Rules Like a Pro!

When you attend an “unconference”, none of the usual rules apply. Crowd-sourcing determines the content of the event, which begins with an empty whiteboard to be filled by attendees with ideas for discussions. Everyone is expected to participate and contribute. Everyone and anyone can pitch their idea.

When you run a startup you know, rules are meant to be broken

Following the vision of Tim O'Reilly, the Unconference is our way to create a free, open space where like-minded individuals will be able to share their thoughts and ideas, form collaborations and promote an open dialogue, surrounding the things we are most passionate about.

Startup Competition

The next day, we will run the startup competition, a rapid fire way for the selected ones to present themselves and their business ideas to the attendees. The best 3 speeches will receive a final  price!

Suggestions for the perfect pitch:

1 Brevity is better than bravado: Be concise with your words and substantive with your talking points

2 Outline your ideas at the beginning of your pitch: DO NOT wait too long to make your point

3 Think positive examples: Connect what you want to say to the ideas decided on by the group.

4 State why your product or service is important: Always clarify what makes your work.important.

5 Mention your works’ future opportunities at the end: To keep people interested, it’s critical to end with a suggestion that there’s still more to be learned.
