Summer is still in full swing - and things are hotting up at Data Natives HQ too! We have a raft of scorching-hot announcements to share with you throughout the summer about Data Natives 2018, from this year’s superstar speakers to which topics you voted to see dissected at our Berlin conference in November.

But first things first: we need a place to house all of our ideas, talks and events for DN2018. Without further ado, we can reveal that our venue for Data Natives 2018 is…

Kühlhaus!

Kühlhaus is a historical ice factory and Berlin landmark that was originally built in 1901, and it’s been reinventing itself ever since. This dynamic space provides the perfect backdrop for our two-day exploration of our ever-changing world, and the role data is playing in shaping the present and future. Spanning more than 5,000 square metres, Kühlhaus is filled with fascinating spaces which will house Data Natives for two action-packed days.

Not only is this historic space easy on the eyes, it’s also very well-connected. Situated on the border between the districts of Kreuzberg and Schöneberg, Külhaus is a stone’s throw from Gleisdreieck station, and has excellent transport links to Mitte and beyond.

Those of you who’ve made it to our events before might remember Kühlhaus from DN2017- but, as you should know by now, there’s no such thing as “business as usual” with the Data Natives crew. We’re committed to upping our game year after year, and pushing ourselves to bring you the most insightful, immersive and useful experience we possibly can. We have a lot of exciting new updates for this year’s event, and we’re so happy that Kühlhaus will again set the stage for our conference of the future.
