Dear Data Natives,

Greetings from the road! We’re currently on the home stretch of our European tour, with 7 cities down and 3 to go. Massive thanks to everyone who’s joined us on the road for nights of insightful talks, networking and an obscene amount of pizza so far. And ICYMI, you can find all of our tour highlights on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook!

However, just because we’ve been on the road, that doesn’t mean we haven’t also been working hard on the conference of the future. Data Natives 2018 is now just 10 weeks away- and if you haven’t got your ticket yet, maybe our latest speaker announcement will finally entice you into joining us for two days of the biggest and best insights into the tech that’s shaping our futures.

Making the Most of DN18

Aside from bringing you the best speakers from the tech world and beyond, the DN team are also committed to bringing you the best all-round conference experience that we possibly can. From the food to the lighting, the networking zones to the satellite events, everything is precision-engineered to make your DN experience as fruitful as possible.

With that in mind, we’ve created a list of tips to deal with conferences like a boss, which brings together our team’s combined decades of experiences on the tech festival circuit, as well as select insights from DN18 partners. As a taster, here’s Romain Doutriaux (EMEA Marketing VP, Dataiku) on how nail pre-conference planning:

“Working hand-in-hand with the customer team (SDRs+Sales) will help you to define the relevant targets you want to meet at the event. Emailing, social network announcements and more will let you schedule business meetings ahead of the event and therefore not rely only on luck or booth design to engage with relevant prospects.”
