| Konstantinos is the Chief Technology Officer of Sphynx Analytics Ltd, working on research projects such as IntellIoT (developing a novel trustworthy framework for human-defined autonomy, tailored to intelligent IoT environments that execute semi-autonomous IoT applications, enabling a suite of novel use cases in which a human expert plays a key role in controlling and teaching the AI-enabled systems) and RESPECT (creating a sustainable European and inter-sectoral network of organisations to design and develop concrete defense strategies to ensure secure, safe, resilient and privacy-preserving operation of indoor mobile robotics solutions). In the past he was the CTO of Sphynx Technology Solutions AG, and has worked as an R&D Engineer / Researcher for the Technical University of Crete (TUC), the Hellenic Aerospace Industry (HAI), the Telecommunication Systems Research Institute (TSI), the Institute of Computer Science (ICS), Foundation of Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), and the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU), where he also taught Information Security -focused undergraduate and postgraduate modules for a number of years. He has authored/co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed journal and conference publications focusing on the Security, Privacy, Dependability and Sustainability of embedded systems and ubiquitous smart platforms, while also serving as a reviewer and Chair at various academic venues pertaining to my research interests. Finally, in addition to his research and academic activities, he also enjoys working on industry-related tasks, dealing with Inforation Security Management issues in particular (being an IRCA certified ISO 27001:2005 auditor). |
