I am a senior AI researcher and Principal Investigator at the QUEST centre for responsible research at the Berlin Institute of Health of Charité Berlin, as well as a visiting Professor of Medical Informatics at Birmingham City University.
My main research focuses are trustworthy AI in healthcare and AI ethics. Specific interests of mine are practical healthcare AI-research, xAI, bias, reproducibility, and translation of AI in healthcare solutions as well as AI in healthcare product development.
