“Dr. Tina Klüwer is a recognized expert, manager, and technical ambassador for the topic of artificial intelligence and its implementation in business.
As Director, she heads K.I.E.Z. – the Artificial Intelligence Entrepreneurship Center (www.kiez.ai). K.I.E.Z. is an initiative of Science & Startups, the network of startup services of the Berlin universities and Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
Before the launch of K.I.E.Z., she was the founder and CEO of parlamind GmbH, a company for automation in customer service using artificial intelligence and speech processing. After the successful exit of the business, she led its four sister companies as technical director.
Previously, she worked for more than 10 years as a researcher at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), the Bonn University and Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. She holds a PhD in computational linguistics from Saarland University.
Tina Klüwer was appointed to the Future Council of the Federal Government in 2022 by Chancellor Olaf Scholz. She is also a member of the advisory board “”Young Digital Economy”” of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), head of the Research Transfer Working Group the German AI Association, and member of the Board of Directors of the KI-Park. Tina Klüwer was chairwoman of the Technological Sovereignty Advisory Council of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), an expert member of the German Bundestag’s two-year Enquete Commission on Artificial Intelligence, and part of the coordination group of the AI standardization roadmap of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and DIN, as well as a member of the board of the German AI Association.”
