For 25 years, Boris Eldagsen has been exhibiting internationally as a photo, video and installation artist in galleries, festivals and museums. He has been using his background in visual arts and philosophy to lecture art, photography and theory at universities and art schools. In addition he worked as a freelance strategist for international agencies. Boris is a pioneer of AI-images, generated with diffusion models. His refusal of the Sony World Photo Awards in April 2023 kicked-off a global debate about the relationship between photography and AI-generated images. He was coined “the poster-boy of the AI-debate” (SZ), and his image “PSEUDOMNESIA | The Electrician” became “the picture that stopped the world” (The Guardian) and an iconic symbol for a new aera. Since 2022 he is one of the internationally acclaimed experts on AI-generated images and a regular guest at panel talks and events. The Berlin-based artist sees AI as a knowledge amplifier and uses his artistic and photographic experience to create images that he could not produce with his previous means. Even though the tools have changed, the basic direction of his work has remained the same: using a psychological approach, he questions what it means to be human.

Dawn Kristy

“AI Advisory Excellence with a Cybersecurity Strategic Edge.” I am an AI and Cybersecurity Advisor.

As GAI tools rapidly advance, Boards, CEOs, CISOs, and Business Leaders find themselves at the forefront of complex promises and perils. First and foremost is cybersecurity.

Consider three actionable steps to improve AI Cybersecurity, which I address in my book 33 Ways Not To Screw Up Cybersecurity:
Training – In the GAI era, Cybersecurity Awareness Training is necessary.
Diligent Behavior – Safety and Security require your cooperation.
Cyber Resilience and an Incident Response Plan – Plan and rehearse a recovery.

Consider the ROI of an AI investment if you suffer a cyberattack, reveal trade secrets, or are sued for discriminatory hiring practices.

Balancing AI and cyber risks with AI benefits is in your hands. YOU are in control, or you should be.

During my global career, I’ve specialized as a strategic engagement advisor in emerging risks helping business leaders align goals and strategies, and facilitating negotiations on policies, risk assessment, risk transfer, and mitigation in AI, cyber, products, professional, and environmental liability.

As an AI Advisor and Cybersecurity Strategist specializing in strategic implementation, I empower organizations to understand the complexities of AI and Cyber risks with confidence and clarity. I provide expert guidance on ethical AI use, risk management, and the state of play in regulatory compliance, with insights into aligning strategies that drive sustainable growth, ROI, retaining talent, and fostering innovation while improving safety and security.

You can learn about my values and voice by subscribing to my LinkedIn Newsletters: CEOs: Act Now on AI Risks with two related series: Emerging Tech Series and AI Leadership Lessons Series as you seek to achieve a risk-benefit balance and consider ROI on your AI investments.

If you want to write your book, I accept ghostwriting projects to help you share your thought leadership voice.

Joanna Bryson - Hertie School

I am an academic qualified in both natural and artificial intelligence. My current scientific research focus is how technology and governance impact key human cooperative behaviour. Topics include political polarisation, economic inequality, punishment and public goods investment. I also have both more basic and more applied research programmes. My PhD (MIT) is in AI, primarily on its systems engineering, which now informs my applied work on AI transparency. I am involved in policy concerning national and transnational governance of and through digital technology. I was 1 of 9 inaugural “experts” Germany nominated to the Global Partnership of AI, where I co-chaired a committee on AI governance from 2021-2023. I am also working on antitrust and market concentration, in collaboration with domain experts.

I am highly motivated by basic scientific questions concerning natural intelligence in both individuals and collectives. Early interests include impacts of the modularity and diversity of brain structures on action selection, and on the efficacy and safety of individual learning; also, the computational roles of attention and consciousness. Understanding the adaptive utility of intelligence required understanding culture (the distribution and retention of intelligence’s outputs), public goods investment, and cooperation more generally, including punishment strategies and regulation.

My PhD though was in Systems AI: methods for promoting the ease and safety of developing AI. This relates to transparency. Good systems AI makes autonomy easier to build, understand, control, and account for. My contributions include the Behavior Oriented Design development methodology, the ABODE real-time AI IDE, POSH action selection (AKA Behavior Trees), and several systems of synthetic emotions.

If I turn down your Link request but we DO know each other, 1) apologies for my poor memory for names & faces, and 2) just email me and I’ll fix it.
